Hi there, I'm Emma
I'm a dynamic UX/UI designer based in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado. I design human-centered, familiar, and well-organized products that are easy to learn.
My journey began with a dual BSc and MSc in geology, which lead me to land a role in the world of mining. While I thrived on continuous learning and embraced various roles in the mining industry from underground geology to exploration and database consulting, I discovered that my true passion lay elsewhere. Each step in my diverse career path was a building block that shaped me and ignited my fascination with UX/UI design.
My transition to UX/UI design was driven by a deep-seated passion for learning and a desire to merge my technical skills with creative problem-solving all while helping people interact more efficiently with digital products. Working in the geosciences has instilled in me a deep appreciation for research and analytical rigor, giving me a good understanding of the importance of UX research and user testing. In addition, I understand the true value of open and honest communication in shaping exceptional products – especially when it comes to championing the users perspective. Today, I channel my unconventional background into crafting user experiences that are not just functional but meet both user and business needs.
